12 oz can poured into a willi becher glass. Pours a transparent copper color with a large fluffy head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma and flavor feature caramel/bready malt, light bitterness, grassy noble hops, and a hint of citrus. Creamy, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Overall, one of my favorite 2023 Oktoberfests.

Appearance: Pours a clear, deep orange to amber color with a large and lasting off white head. SRM of 14. (4.25)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of bread and toasted caramel malts. Hints of orange citrus.
Flavor: Moderate flavors of bread malt, bread crust, caramel, cereal malt. Even some hints of Belgian yeast. Smooth, leans sweet.
Feel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation to balance. Slightly toasty and malty on the finish.
Compared to Title Town Bent Tuba Oktoberfest 9/24/22: Pours a lighter color. Stronger aromas. More smooth bread malt. Less dry cereal malt and carbonation. Smoother and sweeter.
Compared to Lake Louie Oktoberfest 9/24/22: Pours lighter, More smooth bread malt. Less floral. Slightly sweeter.
Overall: A pretty standard Oktoberfest here. I know this one has a lot of bad ratings so I wasn't expecting much. Even has some hints of Belgian flavors among the bread malts to give it a hint of hefeweizen. Thus, it exceeds my expectations. Nice appearance, aromas, falvors. A decent all around. (Current Rating: 3.84)

Poured fresh from a bottle on 9/11/2020 for the 2020 season. Side note: lake Louie now owned by Wisconsin Brewing Company, WBC, in Verona, WI.
Beer has an Amber/copper appearance, some chill haze apparent. Smell is dull, very low hops, mainly fruity esters and diacetyl with faint malt. Carbonation medium, medium high.
Taste is sweet and malty upfront follows by fruit and strong diacetyl and butter. Strong bitterness finishes, perhaps from high mineral content or American hops.
Speculation.
Overall this is difficult to drink. If I were at a festival where this is the “best” beer I could find, I’d probably be more accepting. However, enjoying this is not possible in the home environment.
If you want a hazy, fruity and diacetyl (butter) flavored beer, then you may like this. I have had dozens of Oktoberfest I would recommend and this will not be one of them. Tommy Porter of Lake Louie would be disappointed. This should have been brewed with a higher level of attention to detail and mastery. I will be cooking brats, frying fish and educating my fitness about off-flavors with the rest of my six pack. Do better next year WBC, a little consultation would do wonders for your brewery!

Another hidden gem from Wisconsin! Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a glass tankard. Clear dark amber colored body, with a voluminous soapy off-white long-lasting head. Nothing subtle about the malt character of this one. It's a caramel bomb, surprisingly not too sweet, with notes of biscuit, dark fruit, and a little tart apple. Lots of pleasant spicy bitterness and a crisp finish round out the profile. From where I'm sitting, this begs to be paired with some hearty food. Now I'm off to find some bratwurst. Prosit!

Poured a 12oz bottle into a stein glass. A amber orange color with a nice 2 finger creamy eggshell head. Leaved behind nice lacing. Nice aromas of bready yeast and malt along with hints of caramel. Starts off with the sweet caramel drizzled bread and finishes with some light noble hops. A lighter feel, with soft carbonation and a creamy finish. A clean and easy drinking Okto with plenty of fall flavor.

Pours a huge, frothy, off-white head. Spicy hops, biscuit, and caramel in the nose. Clear, golden color. Starts with a nice, spicy hoppiness and notes of caramel. A nice, medium bitterness; lots of nice, spiciness. More caramel malt comes through. The finish is lingering hop bitterness over the caramel malt.
This is really, really good. A great balance of spicy hops and caramel malt (the latter which I normally dislike). Smooth and delicious.
