Lake Louie Dank Beast
Look – 3.75
Hazy gold with moderate white foam. Head retention is decent, giving it a natural, velvety appearance. Slightly darker and more rustic than a typical bright IPA, but visually inviting.
Aroma – 3.75
Pineapple and subtle mango lead the nose, with faint citrus and a touch of tropical sweetness. Alcohol is noticeable, with just a hint of resin, adding depth without dominating. Fruity and inviting, not aggressive.
Taste – 4.25
Opens with tropical sweetness and gentle bitterness. Alcohol warmth hits the tongue briefly, balanced by a soft roundness from malt and subtle berry notes. Finishes with lingering tropical fruit and a mild alcohol sting.
Mouthfeel – 4.25
Medium-bodied, smooth, and velvety. Slight drying bitterness at the end gives structure, then a soft, lingering sweetness carries through.
Overall – 4.0
Fruity, soft, tropical, and highly drinkable. Alcohol presence is felt but not harsh, making it a smooth, approachable Imperial IPA with layers of subtle complexity
Compared with voodoo ranger. I'll give you an update ??

Pours a bright, hazy yellow, decent off white head fades quickly, some spotty lacing. Snot factory gets some tropical fruit and bit of citrus. Taste buds say tropical fruit juice. Sticky mouth feel and long lasting carbonation. I was expecting a more traditional American IPA, but I think it's closer to NEIPA. I don't care for NEIPA's, but I'd have this again. Nice beer.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes of citrus and tropical fruit with nice grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

I got a steroid 24oz can of this beer from a Kwik Trip gas station/convenient store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin near campus. It poured a hazy golden off white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank pine and subtle citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with dank bitter pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
