The Luzhniki brewery is located in the basement of Moscow's olympic stadium. The only beer served on tap anywhere in this huge sports complex is from this one small microbrewery. The stuff is good, but they have problems with supply. At an figure skating event in the "Palace of Sport," I scored a glass of this stuff early in the first half. 30 minutes later when I went back for another, they were sold out.

Looked pretty good, even in a plastic cup. Deep clear brown under a small tan head with a bit of contour. The nose is nice and strong, full of caramel and malt. The mouth was medium-carbonated and a bit on the heavy side. Caramel is the predominant taste, but there's plenty of hops in the finish to cut through the sweetness. There was also a touch of sourness, but in a pleasant way. A good drinking beer, the aftertaste was an invitation to the next sip. I was not happy to learn that a second cup was not in the cards.
