Deep golden orange hues topped with an impressive excellent retained ivory froth cap containing microscopic sized bubbles leaving tons of lace.
Aroma is dampened by a massive head cap, revealing just earthy light bouquet.
First swigs: Delicate ripe fruit of peach & vanilla ice cream. Sweet sugary iced tea. Quite interesting, really.
Feel is soft and spongy which adds to an excellent drinkability.
Last swigs: Aptly named pilsner. This was a treat!

Golden amber coloured pilsner drink, looking and tasting good, though no great aroma to tease you to start with. I did think it just a shade too sweet for my taste, the hint of sweetness lasting into the finish, whereas I would have preferred a dryer finish! Easy to drink, and looking good, definately one to have again and again. Tried June 2004.

Exceptionally appealing from a visual perspective, this very nice Pilsener style is very dark gold, almost orangish in appearance. The nice white head lasts well and coats the glass with lace.
Quite nice Saaz hops are noted on the nose and the brew is very tasty, displaying a good portion of bittering hops over the substantial malt body. The mouthfeel is just a tad thin for the appearance and detracts from the overall impression of this excellent Pilsner. Easily drinkable, it would be helped by a better mouthfeel.
