Named after the brewer's family name, this heavy bock beer is quite dark with a body reminiscent of porter. The heavy tan foam head laces with great gusto. The nose gives hints of the flavor being roasted malt in nature. The flavor does carry through on this with the flavor being of roasted malts. The feel is full and somewhat creamy. Good drinkability.
