Drank on tap at the Widmer GastHaus in Portland, OR.
There is no information available on website as to the ingredients in this brew, but I was informed at the brewpub that it is 7.3% ABV.
Clear, dark caramel in color forming a light beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is toasty, nutty, with chocolate and vanilla overtones. Taste is very fresh and crisp with almost citric lager cleanliness, followed by a hint of sulfur, bananas, caramelized sugars, and floral hops with raisiny malts. The finish is moderately dry, woody and grainy with chocolate malt. Medium-thin body despite it's strength. Reminds me of bananas foster. Nice.
