The only reason I didn't give it a 5 for drinkability is that it is very strong. They (Widmer Gasthaus pub, Portland) serve it by the pint for the same price as the other beers, which is very generous of them. But share the pint with a friend. I doubt this beer is available anywhere other than the pub (except at some festivals that have already passed). But if you live in Portland, or visit here this winter, do go try this beer. The raspberry fits in wonderfully, it is definitely there, it even colors it a little, but this is no fruit beer, this is a big, black, heavy, warming stout. With that nice raspberry note! A superb dessert beer, or a nightcap.
