6 pack, 12 oz cans bought from West Salem Roth's
$9.99
OK this pours a really nice lighter clear orange body with a very frothy off white head..massive lace left.
Aromas mainly of citrus hops..orange, lime etc..but OK.
Taste again lemon zest, orange pips..a bit of floral hop..malts not really tasting any..but its good on this hot evening.
Nice bubbly refreshing mouth feel..really does well at 90 degrees i can tell you.
A really nice refresher with great taste this is almost an IPA soda..and that's a good thing

Disclaimer: the high marks I gave for this beer are relative to other low-ABV IPAs. I'm not grading it as it compares to regular IPAs.

Finally - a lower-alcohol IPA (4.2 ABV) that has some flavor and body! I had given up on this being possible, but here it is. I'm normally not a huge fan of Widmer, not that that their products are bad, just not my thing. Tiny Drinker is a notable exception.

I drink IPAs almost exclusively, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this beer appeals to me. Of course you won't mistake Tiny Drinker for Vicious Mosquito or Boneyard's RPM, but this is a very drinkable IPA that you can drink in volume without the buzz of the typical big IPA. Good job, Widmer!

a real tasty session ipa in the new mixed ipa pack they put out. a really good beer, one i find myself craving almost immediately after i finished one. its refreshing, distinct, and a total pounder. i never really knew these guys for their hoppy stuff, but have liked each beer in this pack. this one has a little haze to it but is super light still under a high white head, looks even a little thin, but with soda carbonation and a lot of life. it smells like lemongrass and dried herbs, almost a shandy citrus thing as well, but no sweetness here at all. maybe some white wheat in the mash, really simple, dry, basic grain base, but enough for this to be balanced in the flavor. a slight pineapple taste to it, some green grass, meyer lemon, and a light earthy thing going on, very little bitterness here for something called an ipa, almost drinks more like a light pale, but the flavors are fresh and the pop in here, neat hop complexion, id love to know more about whats in here as its uniquely fruity to me. refreshing easy drinker, cool art on the can, summery vibes, no complaints!
