Brewed specially for the recent Wetherspoons festival. A bit of an odd beer: supposedly brewed in the style of a witbier but with the hop character of an American IPA. A straw coloured beer with a head which dissipated to the rim. The beer was not cloudy (as billed in the 'spoons blurb). It had a butterscotch nose with some vinegar: rather offputting. Banana was most noticeable early on but the hops did take over after a few sips. It becomes more drinkable as the hops kick in, but really it falls between two stools.
