500 ml bottle, at The Beehive (JDW landside, South terminal, Gatwick). ABV is 5.3%. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of citrussy hops, coriander and orange peel. Medium dry flavour with the same elements. Not very bitter though.

Bottle. Initial pour shows an insipid clear straw which then clouds. Frothy head.
Decent orange zest hoppy aroma. Distant spice.
The flavour is similar. Grain present.
Light refreshing feel.
The labelled flavours did not show themseves well.

Solid gold, and much less hazy than I'd expect from a witbier. Not much head, either, so not much to look at, really. Smells nice, very vinous and tart, like church communion wine. Lots of coriander, lavender, lemon balm. Soapy, but not in a bad way. Lots of fruit, as well – lychee and tangerine, mostly. Nice.

The flavor doesn't really deliver on what the aroma promised. Mostly, it's quite thin and watery – it's not got the ebullient carbonation I'd hope for in a witbier, and both the malts and the hops seem to come up a bit short. There are nice flashes of juicy hop character – grapefruit, lychee, and lemongrass – but just flashes. Lots being thrown at the wall here, but nothing really sticks.
