Combining the lyrical elegance of Wales’ best loved bard and refined quality of Wales’ favourite beer, Milkwood epitomizes the Dylan Thomas’ maxim - "Live, Love & Drink Beer".
The unique character of rye crystal and malted oats brings russet red colouring and smooth toffee, poetically balanced by a crisp bitterness from Goldings hops.

This is now brewed as a seasonal beer, celebrating the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas ('live, love and drink beer').
Lovely mid-amber colour with a creamy head (both in colour and texture) that produced some good lacing.
Rye crystal and malted oats gives it the colour and aroma, challenger and Goldings give it the bitterness.
Easy to drink and very, very smooth. Most likely the best beer tasted during the session at a Wetherspoons Beer Fest.

Pint served in imperial pint glass via hand pump.
A- Dark muddy brown, with a 2 finger creamy head that as nice retention and lacing.
S- Faint malty notes, not a lot picked up to be honest.
T- Faint caramel notes with a nutty bitter balance in the finish.
M- Very creamy and low carbonation.
D- Um, pretty bland to be honest. a nice mouthfeel makes it very easy to drink and feels comfortable in the stomach, but in terms of flavour, i would look for something a bit more interesting.
