Cask. Very dark brown with an extra thick, light tan and creamy head.
An aroma of charred toast.
A rich malty flavour with a decently balanced profile as the hedgerow tasting hops do their work. Hints of chocolate present.
Soft feel. Medium carbonation.
A good if rather unexciting porter.
Interestingly they have used Boadicea hops
to brew this one; a nice touch.
