Served from tap into a snifter by the brewer himself. Poured red-orange with a minimal off-white head. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, bread, earth, and earthy hop. The flavor was of sweet malt, fruit, citrus, bread, earth, and earthy hop. It had a medium feel on the palate with mild carbonation. Overall this was a decent brew. I was worried at first on the aroma when I did not pick up on any citrus or fruit that this was goig to be an earthy hop bomb. However on the first sip the fruit and citrus made their presence known which was really nice to see. Not sure where the bread aspect I was picking up on came from, but it was definitely a nice touch. A really well done brew that I'm glad I got the opportunity to try. Hope to see more small test batch things come out of this brewery in the future. Tick.
