Draft at brewery. I thought this favored the English style, but it came off as a bit flat. Had both the normal and cask pours, cask faired slightly better. Caramel malts, kind of sweet, not too much hop presence. Not your typical pale ale, and not so great.

The beer is clear glittering amber, a white head leaving some lacing.
The smell is rather weak, nuts, almonds and pears.
Tasting of brown sugar and bread, ripe apples and pears, a nice bitterness.
A low carbonation, a strict and nice body, a smooth dryness.
A really good ale, can be enjoyed real slow.
