Appearance : Brown with a dark robe, generous and fine white foam.
Nose: Rich with a touch of coriander and liquorice.
Taste: Round, heady, pleasant aromas of the special malts used.
Remark: tasting between 8 ° and 12 °, typical ‘end of the year’ beer (high-end beer to enjoy with wisdom with family and friends).

750 ml corked bottle conditioned, as Regal Christmas, cool label! Brown colour, slightly hazy, good initial head but not lingering, lovely spicy aroma, yeasty, malty and spicy flavour - a real treat for the Christmas table.

L- An elegant deep chestnut brown, clear, pours with 5mm pale tan head. It leaves more than lacing, it leaves a coating of foam down the glass most of the way down.
S- Mild for me, I just get a subtle scent like raisons.
T- The Smell^ follows through. But it broadens out, with a flavour that reminds me of British Xmas pudding, incl spice notes.
F- It goes down easy for an 8.1%, the ABV is subtle (hence 'dangerous'!). It has some richness from it's ^puddingy aspect but is mercifully weeell away from any suggestion of being at all sweet.
O- It's a very nice beer indeed, and I'm glad I drank it over Xmas/NY as the spicing makes is especially suitable to this time of year. Surely spices have been added to this to get the^ overall profile... we'll see, now I'll read the lable! ...
... Nope, spices are not mentioned on the lable at all, in fact no surprises to be found there at all.

Pours a deep dark-brown color with a medium top off beige head that dissolves slowly and leaves some sticky lacings on the glass. Aroma is dark ripe fruits, raisins, licorice, bread, caramel and spices.
The taste is sweet with notes of dark and dried fruits, licorice and spices while the background is ballanced with malty caramel notes. The finish has some slight bitterness and the aftertaste has a decent lenght. A little to sweet for my palate, but beside from that is ballanced nicely. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft with a medium carbonation and a medium body. Nice and easy drinking

Clear red brownish color with tan head. Aroma Aroma is quite sugar forward with some dark fruit notes., molasses and a bit of star anise. Taste follows, sweet and sugary with some spices, mostly liquorice and finishes with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Still, the aftertaste lingers sweet and sugary. Medium plus body with medium carbonation. A bit too sweet for my taste.

Clear, dark "nutty" brown beer with a three finger high, beige-brown head that clinges to the glass.

Nose: Belgian yeast, dark syrup, caramel and bread.
Taste: Rasin, dark fruit, brown sugar, nuts, caramel malt, candied sugar - a lot of sweetness!
Mouth: Medium, sweet mouth. High carbonation with small bubbles. Sweet yet a little dry ending. Great!

One of the best Christmas beer for me.
I discovered it this year, and I can't get enough of it.
Great appearance, wonderful brown with a big head, great nose, so resinous, and exceptional taste of raisins and candied fruit.
It looks and taste like "panettone", the typical Christmas cake made in Milano, it's a liquid panettone indeed, wonderful!
Even if pairing with it panettone it's not great as I expected (there is so much butter in it that no beer can stand it, even indulgence batch 1, nor abbaye des rocs or winterkoninkske...), it's exquisite, full bodied and very pleasant.
Highly recommended.

Em vaig pendre aquesta cervesa en format barril . Tot i que prefereixo el format ampolla. Una bona cervesa ,però sense arribar a la qualitat de les grans cerveses de nadal
