The père abbés were a purchase that managed to amaze me from the belgians. Otherwise discrete-even unknown, this beer passess off as your average crappy commercial brew by just another random flemish or walonne.
But no. except for the actual body, with nothing remarkable to it, the smell- a complex and exquisit blend of fruits, wheat and malt, and the taste- a mirror reflection of the smell, even further enhanced and appealing- are both exceptionally flavourful, bodyful and definetly worth drinking over and over. I can't wait for my next visit to belgium!
