My buddy introduced me to this Gold Blond Belgian beer. With 7,5% it is not as light as some other blondes in this category, but amongst the lighter Belgian brews Deugniet has become a personal favorite. It is refreshing, a bit sweet but not overly and has pleasant hints of citrus instead of stale like sometimes is the case with Belgian beers.
Refreshing is what keeps coming in mind when reviewing Deugniet, which can lead to drinking the beer a little too quick!
