330ml bottle, poured into La Chouffe tulip.

A: Golden, slight haze, small fading
head, minimal lacing.

S: Fruity esters, with a note of Belgian yeast.

T: Fairly sweet, hints of wheat, esters, diacetyl and yeast. M: Went down ok, not cloying or coarse.

O: A Leffe Blonde clone, decent for what it is.

This looked interesting in the store (Carrefour @Malmedy, Belgium). I hadn't heard of it before, and then found out it is contract brewed by du Bocq for the grocery giant. I wasn't expecting much, so was quite surprised this it is a decent Belgian blonde. Nice deep copper, color; thick creamy, sticky head and ample carbonation. Poured into a Grimbergen goblet, it looks gorgeous. A little mild on the flavor side, but still tasty. This will proably be hard to find in the US (or anywhere outside of a Carrefour), but there are better Belgians to be had. Still enjoyable though, and affordable.
