A 500ml bottle with a BB of Oct 2017. Purchased a little while back from B&M. The label describes it as a traditional pale ale for Christmas. A bit late for the season but never mind....
A: Poured into a pint mug. A bright coppery-amber colour with good carbonation. Forms a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a couple of minutes before settling as a thin surface layer.
S: Aroma of mild caramel malt and stewed hops. Hints of ale yeast, faint grain, subtle hay and a twinge of overdone veg. Average.
T: Tastes of light caramel malt with a leafy hop character. Notes of stewed hops, mild grass/hay, vague grain, ale yeast and cooked leaves. An almost herbal bitterness upon swallowing; slightly harsh.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with spritzy carbonation and a rather watery body. Aftertaste of bitter stewed hops and husky grain.
O: So-so; a fairly nondescript pale ale. Looks OK, dull aroma and slightly better flavour. Average body. Reasonably balanced but some acrid notes and generally not very exciting to drink. Definitely not brilliant as a Christmas brew - too light and doesn't really fit the season. No need to hunt it down.

Bottled
Pours a copper coloued body with clouds of white bubbles
Aroma is 70's canned bitter.
Golden syrup copper coins.
Flavour is much akin but slight tangerine taste and slightly more pronounced bitter finish
Okay but this would be for those on the naughty list more like
