Had on tap at BBC in Walpole 6/5
This beer pours a deep somewhat clear copper color, the carbonation is highly visible which clouds the otherwise clear brew. About a 1 finger of of foamy head to it, decent retention that leaves thick sheets of lacing on the glass. Nose is relatively muted, caramel malts and grain are noticeable. Taste is of pale malts at first sip, with a touch of graininess in the middle, some faint piney hops mix towards the end, with a strong caramel malt in the finish. This is a light to medium bodied beer, although visually this beer looks highly carbonated it's perfectly carbonated, crisp feel, clean finish, and highly drinkable.

This beer was brewed exclusively for British Beer Company by W.H. Brakspear & Sons plc. On-tap 2/7/09 at the Walpole, MA location, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a medium dense off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of light caramelized malts, a little spice and a touch of hops.
T: The taste is well-balanced with a light maltiness up front and then a decent hops bitterness comes in with some caramel sweetness in background. The after-taste is slightly bitter.
M: Crisp is very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean and dry.
D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very good session beer to drink for a long time, but usually I can find something a lot better when I'm at BBC.
