This cask seasonal was a dark ruby color.. very inviting. Head was tan and thick, great sheets of lace coated my imperial pint glass. This was a full bodied ale leaning towards malty. It is very smooth with some slight spicy hopping. Very drinkable for a full bodied "strong ale" 5% is strong for cask.
