.5l in mug at the brewpub.
2 fingers of off-white head over a hazy golden beer. The head had very good retention and left the mug fairly well coated with lacing. There appears to be lots of carbonation.
Has an attractive, yeasty and bready aroma, with (Noble?) hops. The flavor is almost exactly what the nose suggests, although a tad more hoppy. But this brew does not have the hoppy character of a typical pilsner. (After reviewing, I find it is a Marzen).
M: smooth; light/medium body; medium-high carbonation.
O: the long-lasting, bready aftertaste may be the strong point of this beer
