Strongest beer at recent 'spoonsfest on cask in Helensburgh. Dark amber colour with an orange to cleaning fluid nose. Rather soapy tropical start and some brown sugar with a bit of leafiness in the aftertaste. I had expected something bolder....

JTW International Ale Festival 2014.
Clear dark orange. Nice persisting frothy head.
Citrus/grapefruit aroma - nice.
Acute bitterness which quickly mellows. Extremely hoppy.
Smooth with a subtle astringent aftertaste.
So far from 'Spoons it's the best collaboration between a British brewery and a U.S. one .
