Thanks to drewone for sharing this one at his tasting.

2012 vintage. Best before the end of 2017.

Pours a hazy honey orange-brown with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, honey, apple, pear, fruit, funk, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, green apple skin, fruit, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with really nice earth and fruit qualities all around.

Serving type: bottle.
