Pint in Anderson's Grill & Bar, Sligo:
Clear copper amber with a thin white surface lacing that's foamy with a little lacing on the glass - retention isn't too bad either. The nose is a generic pale ale one that's mainly caramel, pine & some grassy notes but it's nothing special; some bread malts add a little sweetness towards the end too. It's a similar taste, plenty of earthy malts, a little caramel & a touch of pine adding some bitterness. It's a medium body that's semi-bitter with lighter than expected carbonation - a very average pale ale, not much craft about it.

I tried a pint of this beer off the tapper at a bar just down the road from the Camden hotel in Dublin . It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had mellow tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with very nice tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Pint at Foley's bar in Dublin while the women were shopping.
Deep golden with a hint of red to it and a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Bready caramel toffee butterscotch.

Had on tap. Closer to a macro pilsener than an "Irish pale". Way too carbonated, some much adjunct in taste and especially smell. Has a strong corn cloying sweetness on the finish. just not a great beer.

Not a traditional pale ale...liked it.. Pilsner like. At the original Dirty Nelly's.
