The "herb and spice beer" label is appropriate, it shouldn't be reviewed as a beer but as a beer drink in mojito fashion. And as such, it is great! Mint, elderflower aromas galore, who cares if it's artificial? Reminds me of the radlers but it is much more beer-like with proper ABV. Has a bit artificial aftertaste but altogether feels good, regardless of the tequila and the sugar included. I rate it as okay, because it is fun enough.

Heineken Nederland B.V. "Desperados Mojito"
33cl clear glass bottle, "Mindestens haltbar bis ends: 06-2018..." and sampled in 09-2017
1,89€ at a Turmöl Tankstelle in Salzburg, AT
Look: It's a clear golden in color beneath a short head of bright white that steadily fizzes it's way out of existence, not unlike a glass of cola (although a little slower).
Smell: My first impression was that this was skunky. 'Both skunky and minty!' I thought, but now I'm not finding the skunkiness. Perhaps I've just gotten used to it, or perhaps it wasn't even there to begin with. There is a hint of an odd vegetal note to it though. The mint is pleasant enough.
Taste: The flavor is seemingly more minty than "tequila" based, and the sweet "beer" base seems secondary. It's not particularly bitter but it does finish dry with a hint of what I'd call tequila flavor.
Feel: Light-medium in body and gently crisp.
Overall: Is this a beer? Yes, but it's a highly "flavored" beer. Personally I'd call it a "malternative", and honestly, even as such it's not that good.

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. After dinner. Plenty of mint. In nose its not bad, a bit artificial but not bad. However, in mouth all goes downhill, its very tiresome and the alcohol is noticeable and adds it displeasement
