Had on tap. Blackish brown body, with a big beige head and tons of lacing. Aromas wet dark wood, whiskey soaked dates and raisin, peated earth and dark malts. Taste is more the boozy part of the barrel with the earthy tones, but still a great job keeping the style personality amongst the barrel aging. Feel is medium bodied, smooth, very warm, and finishes dry. Nice work here

This was a wonderful barrel aged beer. Nothing too heavy, and just enough notes from the wood.
