11 ounce pour - $8.00 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Arrived a clear, dark reddish-brown body with a quarter-of-an-inch head of ivory froth.
Smell: Bready, toasty maltiness, a hint of pils, with some slightly sweetish hints of toffee, caramel. Minimally estery. Little touch of the herbal hops in the nose.
Taste: Toast on top of pilsner malts with a very, very minimal hint of roast. Sweetish touches of caramel and a small pinch of tossed cocoa powder. Fruitiness, a bit berryish. Floral, lightly earthy hops with minimal bitterness that's sustained throughout. Drying on the finish, though a bit of caramel (on the bigger sips) can linger out into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not a bad lil' beer.
