Six American hop varieties bring assertive citrus and tropical fruit notes to this West Coast-inspired IPA, along with hints of pine and green pepper. Golden in color and medium bodied, this brew finishes bitter and crisp with a lingering, dank hop presence.

Decent IPA. Clear golden/amber color. Big, white head. Pine and tropical fruits in aroma. It has a strong hoppy bitterness in taste with sweet notes of caramel malt.

Clear amber, white lacey head; smells hoppy; smooth, moderate carbonation; tastes like a good IPA, moderate hippiness, not too bitter. It's good, I like it.
Contrary to the picture here on BA, nowhere on the label on the bottle do the letters IPA appear. It says Southern Sixer, resiny, piney, and dank.

Pours a clear golden small bar pour white head.
Aroma is bready malts, tropical fruits light hoppy notes mostly just fruity.
Taste is like the nose bready malts, tropical fruits, with light herbal and grassy bitterness for the finish.
Mouhfeel is on the lighter side with crisp carbonation.
Overall eh not Highlands best IPA, not bad but not really good enough to have again.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tulip glass. Hazy orange in color with only a slight head. Lot's of bubbles rising to the surface. Nose is faintly floral, not much else. Taste is peppery/spicy on the tongue with a long-lasting bitter aftertaste. This bottle might be a bit over-carbonated. Overall, a very unique and tasty beer.
