Pours a hazy lightly burnt yellow, almost cider looking. Small bar pour white head with some lace.
Aroma is very tropical mango, tangerine, sweet papayas, light pink grapefruit. Smells really fruity but not overly hoppy.
Taste is like the nose sweet base lots of tropical fruits that add to the sweetness. Carbonation brings out some bitter bite, light pink grapefruit with some mixture of grass and light herbal bitterness.
Mouhfeel is light side of medium, peppy carbonation seems to drive the bitterness.
Overall not a bad fruity IPA bitterness is on the light side. Easy drinking and favorable. Personally like more hop bite but not bad.

Appearance: Arrives cloudy and amber colored; a few strands of lacing
Smell: Papaya, passion fruit and tangerine tones
Taste: Papaya and passion fruit forward, with the tangerine tones building; moderately bitter, through the middle with a citrus fruit finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall A bit livelier on the palate than is typical for the style; my first Highland beer for quite some time - nice to see them brew in this style as I feel that their standard bearers need a bit of updating
