Highland Brewing Company and Urban Orchard Cider have teamed up to bring the quintessential fall beer, Apple Molasses Brown Ale. Small batch homemade apple molasses is the star of the brew, made using a recipe from UO Marketing Director Jeff Anderson’s family. The crew then added some of Urban Orchard’s fresh apple juice for a bit of sweetness to balance the solid brown ale backbone.
