Poured from a can into an IPA glass.
Look: Gold to orange in color. Medium off-white head. Ok retention. Very cloudy. I saw was I believe was a chunk of yeast that settled to the bottom.
Smell: There's a little bit of a soapyness to it. Lightly sweet. It's quite juicy. I can easily pick out pineapple.
Taste: The sweetness really shines through. This is a mellow brew. I don't find the juicyness to be quite as strong as in the nose. Only on the back end does any bitterness start to come through. This is a mild IPA. It finishes out with a light pine note.
Feel: Medium bodied. Very crisp.
Overall: This is a great IPA. it is very easy to drink but 7.5% ABV will surely sneak up on you fast. I think this beer would be great in any outdoor setting with warm weather.

Pours like a nicely made hazy. Nice light hoppy tastes. Could be a little hazy/fruitier for me. Very good flavors though. Haven't had a bad Highland beer yet.

Picked up as part of a mixed sixer from the Highland Lakes Ingles cooler on 5-10-23 for $11.99. Canned 3-2-23; consumed 12-26-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy gold with an okay white head.
Nose is very nice as this is full of tropical and citrus fruits. Nice job on the hop bursting.
Taste is a lighter but substantive pale malt base in which the hop bill gives me mango, orange, and pineapple. Finishes a tad sweet, could use some more bittering hops.
Mouthfeel is very light and very refreshing.
Overall another solid brew from Highland!

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy goldenstraw with a two finger head; good retention and sheets of lacing
Smell: Tropical fruit and melon tones are joined by shortbread malt; lemongrass penetrates the aroma, as well
Taste: Melon and papaya forward with white grapefruit and lemongrass emerging; shortbread malt underpins, bringing a touch of honey; moderate bitterness with some fusel alcohol in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not picking up the pineapple and mango tones that the better NE IPAs deliver; this one falls a bit short of the mark

Hazy yellow pour with a large amount of head. Aroma is pine and citrus. Taste is malty with a touch of hops. Not as citrusy as the aroma would indicate. Mouth feel is moderate and pretty typical for an IPA. A solid IPA.

With no slowing in the IPA game, Highland Brewing selects the premiere hops of Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy to reach for new heights in the Hazy IPA game.
Hazy Heights does just that with a hazy golden appearance and a creamy white cap with its first introduction. Citrusy, tropical, winey and herbal, the nose opens with a strong citronella perfume while that first taste anticipates a crisp and caramelized malt backbone of toasted shortbread, mild honey and vanilla wafer.
But the middle palate starts to blossom with those coveted hops, starting citrusy with red grapefruit, tangerine and a pep of lime. Not to be overshadowed, a tropical medley of mango, passionfruit and pineapple add a racy zing. As hints of white grape, lemongrass and currant add other fruity nuances, the ale trends crisp with an herbal balance of black tea, cedar and verbena.
Medium bodied yet trending crisp, drying and refreshing, the hazy IPA veers from its creamy upstart to ensure a snappy hop finish with a moderately strong bitterness leaving impressions of spruce, tea, fruit peel and botanical hemp on the aftertaste.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/21/2022. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head, great retention and spotty soapy lacing around the glass. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toast, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, woody, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malt and sticky/resinous hop mouthfeel. Long resinous drying finish, with minimal hop astringency. A bit crisp on resins. Minimal warming 7.5%, or hop burn after the finish. Awesome Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy profile. Very vibrant, dank, and juicy aggressive hop profile; with a clean and nicely soft malt backbone. Very impressive for the style, loved the hop profile as expected.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 6/21/22, so 2 months old.
Looking very good in the glass. Actual hazy rather than murky dull orange yellow body. Big white head persists in good form throughout leaving thick rings of lacing.
Strong aroma of mango.
On tasting, the mango isn't as forward. Quite hoppy and fairly sweet. Bitterness towards the end.
Mouth close to full, finish a lasting light grapefruit bitterness.
Overall, nice beer, enjoying these newer offerings from Highland, then again enjoyed most of the old classics as well.
