Enjoy the soft and fruity notes of grapefruit, citrus, and melon. It is medium-bodied with a lightly bitter finish. Wheat and Carapils malt bring body and head retention to the beer, and it’s finished with a dry hop of El Dorado and Citra.

LOOK: Pours a very lightly colored lemon yellow with a light haze along with a 2-3 finger all white head with both good
retention and side glass lace.
AROMA: Some citrus fruit ester of lemon and tropical notes combined with some earthy malts.
TASTE: I get a malt, dough foundation and a juicy tropical citrus start and a drying finish.
Overall, this offering certainly fell short of a WOW reaction, especially when Highland on the label includes great expectations.

FILLED ON 07/18/24. Served in a glass tumbler.
A: Beautiful hazy glowing bright gold with 2-finger white frothy head with good retention and copious lacing.
S: Aroma is highly estery with candied fruit as the most dominant
T: Flavor also high in esters which drowns out most of the hoppiness and leaves some herbal undertones in the finish and aftertaste. Low bitterness.
M: Feel is chalky and slightly astringent.
O: can’t really recommend this hazy ipa - it tastes and feels like light intensity PEZ candy.

Nice pour, hazy ale. Smooth and light taste with citrus notes. Tangy after taste on bottom of tongue. Good solid beer.

Picked up as part of a mixed sixer from Ingles on Highland Lakes Road 5-10-23 for $11.99. Filled on 2-2-23; consumed 12-12-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with a very nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose is nice, getting notes of citrus and tropical fruits.
Taste is a light pale malt base that allows the hops to display which gives orange, mango, and papaya. Finishes with a very nice balancing touch of grapefruit rind; 5/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
What can i say other than you will get a solid beer when Highland is on the label!

12 ounce can, 10 days new, poured into a Cape May Brewing pint glass. Fresh.
Bright hazed sunshine yellow color. Tall head, pure white, clean, lasting, and decent lacing.
Mild aromas of lemon, mango, and light multigrain wheat dough.
Citrus flavor pop - lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Mango and pineapple tropical touch. Light grain malt.
Medium bodied and hoppy yet easy on the palate. Hop kick to start, some juice, then a clean dry finish.
Fresh and clean. Very drinkable. Not too juicy.
