Enjoyed a 10 oz pour at the East Asheville brewpub on 8-16-25 for $8.00.
Beer was served a deep shade of red with a nice head.
Nose was a combination of sweet crystal malts and citrus hops.
Taste follows the nose as the caramel and crystal malts are sweet. Hopping on the back end was grapefruit, orange, and floral. Finishes balanced, 5/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and soft and smooth.
Overall, a nice scaling of the Gaelic recipe.
