Had during Brewvival 2012! Served from cask into a Brewvival sampler imperial pint. Poured yellow-orange with a half finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, citrus hop, and floral hop. The flavor was of sweet malt, citrus, earth, and citrus hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a fairly decent brew. They had this one labelled as an American IPA at the festival, but based on the flavor and aroma I would have guessed it was a Double IPA personally. The flavor on this one was quite pleasant and really easy to drink despite the earthy characteristic going on here. Just wish it would have been able to bring a little more to the table as far as appearance and aroma. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance however. Tick.
