Appearance: Light brown in color. There was was no head retention, but there was some at first, this also could have been due to the growler getting filled the day before.
Smell: Sweet, malty goodness. Not really any tea aroma.
Taste: Sweet, malty spice, slightly roasty on the back end.
Mouthfeel: A lighter dubbel, which I was it to be nice that it was not super heavy.
Overall: $12 for a 64 ounce Growler from Piggly Wiggly in Myrtle Beach. Was impressed with highland stepping outside of the box and doing something a little higher in alcohol content. Most of their normally run 5 - 6 %. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a nice belgian style beer.
