Pours pale gold and mildly hazy. The head puffs up big and white even with a gentle pour. Good lacing and retention. It faded to a few centimeters of foam after a minute, but that stuck around for quite some time. The aroma is delicately hoppy. There's oranges, lemons, wildflowers and grass. Mild but fresh pale malt. The taste has a lager-ish character that grows on me as I make my way through the bottle. The hops add a bit of lemon-orange flavor and some gentle bitterness. Mouthfeel is light but pretty full. The bitterness keeps things refreshing and fairly crisp. It's an easy drinking, sudsy beer, good for a hot summer day.

Bottle from last week's NorCal trip, from the Bottle Barn. This is a great ale, closest is their claim that it's a pale. It has a small retained head and fresh slightly hoppy aroma. It has a soft mouthfeel, with a moderate citrus taste. Just a nice bitterness and terrific drinkability. It is akin to a cross style with a kolsch, light wonderful...bomber finished. Not a n off note.
