agree with the other review here that this is weird with english ale yeast in it, but i think i must just like it better than they did. the weirdness sort of grew on me the more i drank it, although the distinctive strain shocked me at first. you smell it right up front with the lacto, and the citrus is sort of odd with a yeast we usually see in super malty beers. the wheat is really light in this, doesnt give it quite enough body i dont think, and the beer is definitely under carbonated for what it is, but the flavors are distinctive and really pretty good. i think they got it just sour enough, middle of the road acidity and a nice dry finish. low alcohol is nice for warm weather, and the english yeast makes it unique and just a little more layered than all the other quick new school berliners out there. inventive and pretty well executed. i would order this again if given the opportunity. my first from these guys is a tasty one, looking forward to trying a few more...

In the style o a Berliner Weiss, but brewed with English ale yeast. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad idea, but I will try it. On to the beer:
It's straw colored and topped with a white ½ inch head which retains well. The aroma of straw some soft lactic acid make the aroma. Okay so far. And okay is where it ends up. The flavor is grainy with some plain white bread with a spoonful of tartness. Taste is so bready that you would probably see a loaf a bread if you left it out overnight. Mouthfeel is very light. A decent experience, though it does taste almost as much as Wonderbread as it does a Berliner.
