Golden color with a fluffy head with short retention.
Aroma with notes of lemon concentrate, tequila and malt sweetness.
Overly sweet flavor with predominant notes of processed lemon juice and corn syrup. You don’t really feel the tequila in the mouth. No aftertaste, nor bitterness.
Light body with good carbonation. Alcohol is low, but still hidden, feels like soda.
This seems less artificial than last time I tried (low expectations?) and somewhat better than Desperados, but still too sweet and why not add real tequila to the recipe? A great idea that was wasted. Can’t help to say they should change their name to “Te quiero muerto” and “Desperate to drink this”.

Found this at a small grocery store in Moorea during my honeymoon. Clear bottle with a pasted red and green label of a Spaghetti Western bandit on the front.
Poured some into a small whisky glass (all I had at the time) and got the basic pale straw color with a small, fizzy white head. No lacing.
Smells of cheap Cuervo and lime. Sweet malt and corn presence as well.
Taste follows the smell except with a good dose of sugar and a sharp carbonation. Has more in common with tequila lime wine coolers than beer.
I jammed a few lime wedges into what was left in the bottle and decided to stick with Tabu instead.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
