Copenhagen 8/7 2017. Funny little 33 cl bottle from Føtex. Looks like a small Wine bottle. Usual La Goudale design with a modern IPA thrown in.
Pours almost clear light amber with white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of thin foam. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is earthy and of humid basement, sweet wheat and light bitter notes.
Medium strong carbonation and medium thick texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by strong dry bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with dry finish.
Something like a mix of a Belgian beer and a IPA. More Belgian than IPAish.

Fruity-smelling and clear gold.
At over 7% I was expecting a bolder flavour. Bitter, yes, but still missing a lot of hop taste. Instead there’s a booziness. Heavy Caramel/Malt flavours.
Different for sure, but not my best purchase.

50 cL can poured into a snifter in Toulouse, France.
Lively foam peaks and slides away. Little bit of lacing most of the way down.,
Nose is a tad tinny although the brew is fresh. Fruit notes, hops, (but not a Blast of Hops)., malt.
Taste is right there.,. the sweetness tames the hops down. Which is a shame, because the hop blend is dying to get on the tongue.,.
Feel is medium, medium carbination.
Overall, if the hops were propped up more, this would be a decent everyday IPA. But the taste of the tank and the sweetness make this only ‘aight’.,.

Drank from the 500ml can. Has a nice hoppy aroma but then a medicinal note underneath. Taste also has a good fruity start but ends with a similar medicinal finish. Not bad but not great.

330 ml bottle, from Føtex Hjørring. ABV is 7.2%, 50 EBU. Hops are Simcoe and Cascade. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of fruity and spicy hops, notes of citrus and other yellow fruits. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour is first fruity, but ends in a sharp and somewhat unpleasant bitterness of earthy and medicinal hops.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of April 2019. Purchased a while back from Morrisons. The label describes it as an IPA hopped with Simcoe and Cascade.
A: Poured into an IPA glass. A deep amber hue with good clarity and plentiful carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or so before subsiding and eventually dissipating.
S: Aroma of fruity yeast esters with hints of bubblegum, subtle dried fruit, faint spice, a peppery leafiness, hay, mild earthiness and caramel malt. Decent enough though the hop character is quite subdued.
T: Tastes of fruity esters with notes of bubblegum, mild banana, light dried fruit, spice/pepper, leafiness, hay, earthiness and caramel malt. Quite sweet, followed by a modest leafy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with fizzy carbonation and good body. Quite thick. Mildly astringent. Aftertaste of fruity yeast, bubblegum, earthiness, spice, stewed leaves, hay and caramel malt.
O: OK though nothing amazing. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are a mix of fruity yeast esters, spice, leafiness and caramel malt. Surprisingly sweet. Nice body. A pleasant enough beer but the hops are MIA - possibly faded? Drinkable but no need to seek it out.
