Copenhagen 12/1 2020. 75 cl corked bottle from Lidl, Lygten. Kbh. NV. They are playing on the Abbey violin on the label with church windows and a big white cross. Blue background.
Pours hazy pale yellow with a big, white, dense head. Fairly stable. Settles as 1 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, citric and lemonade-ish. Oranges, citrus fruit, white sugar, hints of peach. Some coriander peeking in. Light acerbic bite.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is a bit thin and watery. Medium strong sweetness. More moderate citric sourness. Aftertaste is lightly sour. Lingers shortly.
Generic Wit bier which lacks some intensity to be good.

Bottled in a huge bomber and part of the Lidl beer festival where this was the only new appearing for the first time
Pours the usual slightly hazy wheat coloured body with splatterings of white head
Aroma cloves and winter spice
Flavour is that wheaty charm

From Lidl, 75cl bottle. Nice coloured witbier, light straw gold. Medium carbonation. Creamy initial feel, slightly thinner afters. Lemon and slight coriander, like a more subtle Blue Moon. Easy to drink, enjoyable enough.

From Lidl. At lunch in mother in law's house. 75cl shared with Rafael & Luis. Thin body and clean coriander and lemony notes. Simple but very drinkable.

Pours cloudy pale gold, tight head. Looks as it should
Aroma of lemons, lime, blood orange, tangerines. Really quite inviting
Taste is similar but not as good - slight soapyness to it. Think body, fairly high carb.
I'm not the biggest fan of wits but this is more enjoyable than the last couple I have had
