Genova 24/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Doro Supermarket, Piazza di Soziglia, Genova. Black label with a red, baby-like, diabolic, red youngster wielding a trident.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer.No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a cellar-like yeasty scent and a bit of sour grains. Sweet pale malts, white sugar, honey and bread. Musty cellar. Sour notes.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a boozy undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry withba touch of alcohol.
A very sweet take on a Belgian Triple.
