75cl bottle from Lidl. No mention of the brewer, had to do a little research, found that a little strange. Pours dark copper amber, bubbly off-tan head. Mild aroma of sweet bubble gum and caramel malt. Taste pretty much follows, not overly complex but a bit sweet and kind of flat feel. Ok but wish it was a smaller bottle now!

0,75l bottle bought at Lidl in Italy, can't fathom why there's no reference to the French "Les Brasseurs de Gayant" which is supposedly the producer. The only company listed on the bottle is Lidl, but I guess it's done to make it difficult to track the producer... or not? The absence of localization for BE-FR-DE, the countries with the strongest "d'Abbaye" tradition gave me further worries.
Costly cork tap given the cheap beer (2,5€/litre) which tells you this is a "biere de tradition"... I'm sure of that, Lidl, ty...
Non persistent foam, highly carbonated with inconsistent bubble size.
Slightly opaque amber color.
Absent aroma except for a bit of malt.
Drinkable, sweet, tastes like toasted malt.
Very non complex but quite drinkable-enjoyable for this price.

Cerveza de color marrón oscuro con un dedo de espuma que desaparece en segundos. De cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media. Aroma a malta, levadura y caramelo. En boca es acuosa, con un sabor tostado, ligeramente dulce.
