Appearance: Looks pale like an IPA with an orange tint that is a bit darker than a pale ale. It's still quite light, and the white head is minimal.
Smell: A definite hoppy aroma gives a sense of how sweet the brew is, but it does not convey a fruit smell. It's like a sweet bouquet of flowers and sugar.
Taste: As in the smell, the hops make themselves known in a flowery way. Moreover, the sugar becomes more intense, and a hint of vanilla makes this taste similar to frosting.
Mouthfeel: The light bodied nature of the beer and the sweetness of the hops and malts, create a near perfect balance that interestingly mixes with the bitter aftertaste.
Drinkability: For a beer of 7.00%, this beer is amazingly drinkable. It quenches thirsts like the best of the summer beers, but has a malty backbone of a winter brew. I could have a few pints of this easily, and hopefully I'll get the chance to again.
