Thanks to grassrootsVT for this...
Appears a hazy, semi-transparent, pale gold with a 2 finger white head that quickly fades out. Scattered speckles of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of crisp wheat, freshly squeezed lemon, notes of coriander, mild notes of clean yeast...also hints of lemon pledge.
Taste is of a crisp, light, refreshing wheat beer that touches upon the Belgian style. I would imagine this could be tweaked even more by either using a more phenolic yeast strain, or fermenting at a different temp. I would also recommend an addition of orange peel (if the folks at Trout are indeed trying to emulate a Belgian White).
Mouthfeel is light bodied, refreshing, lemony, semi-dry, and mildly tart.
It's not a bad beer...it just doesn't do anything to stand apart from the crowd and say, "Hey, look at me! I'm different!"
There's a little room for improvement in this beer and I think with a few small adjustments, they will have a beer worthy of both the crowds, and the connoisseurs alike.

12 ounce bottle, with no freshness dating. Pours light, yellowish, moderate, tiny bubble head, nice rings of lacing. Lemony wheaty nose. Light, lemony, citric flavor notes, a bit too watery for my liking. Crisp and refreshing thirst quencher. Soft, creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Light in body. Would be fine to go with lunch on a hot day.

12ozer from a mixed six-pack from Waterbury Beverage, Waterbury, VT.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a thick 1" white head, which has a reasonable amount of staying power, but little lacing due to the affinity the foam has to keep itself together. Grainy, slightly hoppy aroma over this clear golden brew. Kind of thin mouthfeel, and taste seems to be where it should be, just lacking the oomph one would want. Citrus tones are quite strong, which does make for a crisp, clean brew that would make a good lawnmower beverage.

American Wheats don't do much for me and I have a hard time rating them as they are typically bland....this one is OK I guess...
Cloudy gold color....nose is kind of nasty..real musty smelling....not what I expected....body is on the light side of medium..relatively firm in the mouth...some wheat malt emerges in the taste...maybe a twang of lemon grass...taste is OK but the smell of this really knocks the drinkability...
I would not drink this beer again...

Hazy pale golden color. Thin ivory white head with no retetention skills. Lace is adequate. This nose is really dumbed down. I pick up just the slightest bit of wheat and lemon. This beer is so damn bland. I can't pick up a lot. On the flip side, I don't pick up a lot of off flavors either. Dank mustiness. Rotting cantelope. A little carpet taste. Carbonation is a notch low. Body is about medium. Not the greatest beer in the world, but it beats out their Red that I just reviewed.

Presentation: 12 oz brown long neck bottle with no freshness date.
Appearance: Hazy yellow with chunks of yeast swirling around, fizzy white froth settles to a thin ring of lace.
Smell: Lemony fermented wheat twang in the aroma, faint alcoholic esters and earthy yeast as well.
Taste: Moderate body with a soft crispness and semi-creamy mouth feel. Lemony fermented wheat flavour with a snappy light tartness, lots of pale grain on the tongue. Nutty yeast flavours meld well with the grain, the hops are light and merely add a balance. Finishes dry with more yeast and grain.
Notes: A run of the mill American Wheat Ale, good at quenching your thirst especially if it is your first beer of the day. I could see this as an ideal lunch time brew also.

This brew comes right off the tap with an almost white color which settles to a nice light yellow brew. The estery aroma and flavor of this beer is quite surprising considering the lack of haze usually seen in a wheat ale. The body was not overly light and overall I found Whitewater very refreshing on the warm summer day.
