appearance: The beer has a 0.5" white head that slowly recedes. A decent layer of head remains on the surface, as well as a ring around the glass. No lacing is left behind. The beer is a hazy, opaque golden in color.
smell: Upfront I find yeasty notes with hints of banana bread. There is a light coriander spiciness with maybe a hint of sweet orange, not sure. There is a moderate, clean wheat malt sweetness. Just a touch of belgian type hop aroma.
mouthfeel: The carbonation is medium and gentle on the tongue, comprised of small bubbles. The body is on the heavier side of the light range.
taste: The flavor is wheaty with considerable notes of yeast by products, mainly a banana type ester. Again, I am pretty sure there is some orange peel and coriander spice, but cannot be sure. No hop flavor is noticeable to me, and there is a very light bitterness in the finish...whatever the opposite of dry is.
drinkability: easy
Available soley on tap at the brewery. It was hard to place this one stylistically, but with some guidance I finally settled on "Belgian Pale Ale."
