Slightly hazy amber colour topped by a thin white lace of head that showed good retention. Malty aroma, a bit of rye peeks through, but mostly malt sweetness and some floral hops. Light bitterness with a very light grassy/floral hop flavour. Grain character comes mostly from malted barley and caramel malts, but there is a little bit of crisp rye. The medium length finish is on the sweet side. Light body with moderately low carbonation. This is not a bad beer by any means, but the malted barley overwhelms the rest of the flavours (even the rye) even though it's not really that strong overall.
