I'm not totally convinced this is an IPA. it's something between an IPA, double IPA, and a hoppy ale. Well, whatever it is, it's great. It goes without saying this beer was crafted with love. It's unfiltered, dry-hopped, and naturally carbonated. The appearance is a hazy brownish-yellow with excellent lacing. The overall flavour is hoppy, dry, and not overly bitter. The carbonation is light and smooth -- a good sign of natural carbonation. It's not always on tap, but when it is, it's worth getting.

According to the brewery this is:
"Dreadnought" a dry-hopped, naturally carbonated, unfiltered, 6% special brew.
It's a lot like an IPA - dark straw/orange, a little cloudy, medium white head with nice tight bubbles... Citrus nose - you're going to be having a beer! You might get overly excited after their other beers and say that it's huge in the nose but that's just compared to the other beers - they're much lighter! It has a nice flavor to it of citrus hops - grapefruit peel, grass, a little earth. Not much in the way of bitterness and certainly not over the top in citrus taste but HUGE in comparison to their other offerings! It seems to say, above, that it's cask... It was certainly carbonated when we tried it - just not highly carbed. A bit light in the mouthfeel like all of the Brutopia beers we tried. If you're going to the pub I encourage you to get testers of their other brews and pints of this one!
