The beer with the colors of fall. This seasonal specialty beer charms with finely balanced hoppy bitterness and distinct malty notes. Its tangy and full-bodied taste is the perfect match for autumnal specialties and events such as farmers' markets and Thanksgiving celebrations.

Half Litre Bottle, poured into oversized Tripel Karmeliet Goblet.
A: Golden colour, clear with lots of bubbles, fairly large head which hung around for a while. Left some lacing.
S: Wasn't the most aromatic beer, had hints of malt and caramel.
T: Followed the nose, left a lingering aftertaste of sugar cane.
M: Watery texture, medium body.
O: Decent autumnal drinker, one to revisit.

I had this on draft 11/3/23 @ the Beer Temple.
See-through dark orange appearance.
Big bright white head; minimal lacing remained.
Honeyed wheat, corn & mineral water notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Sweet grain, corn & mineral water flavors.
Nice, clean beer here.

It is indeed a well balanced beer! I am not a big fan of Stiegl, especially its Gold brew but this one is quite okay, I found nothing against it.
By well balanced I mean that malts are not overwhelming, it is neither too sweet nor too heavy, it is almost like a lager or a pilsner when it comes to drinkability. But of course there is something special about it and that is its marzen-like quality that is taken to the next level here - you get these slightly salty overtones, almost like with a költsch! Very nice and interesting. Is this what they call a festbier or wiesnbier? no idea, but nevertheless it is a very nice beer. Wish Stiegl made more good stuff like this.

Had on draught, this was a nice festbier from Stiegl. Sweet malty notes with some moderate hoppy notes come through both on the nose and the taste. Definitely worth trying.
