Blind-tasted except for the beer's name, ABV and brewery/country...
L- Pours mid-gold with a rush of noisy bubbles. This dissipates to a partial lid.
S- Quite bright, light and dry.
T- Follows the Smell^ closely. Quite a hard grainy aspect (vs softer as in say trad Brit ales) but there is an element of malts giving partial balance.
F- CO2 in the mouth is very high, so much so I can feel myself swallowing gas and now have hiccups as a result!
O- It's a straight-forward 'lager' with no clear character of it's own. There's nothing notably wrong but I'm finding it dull. I'll have no problem finishing it but have no reason to consider buying it again.
Review1983/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! ==> 'Organic certified, brewed without technical (?technische) enzymes'.
330ml bottle BB: 15/12/2021 £2.60 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
